Ohio Scholarships & Financial Aid
Ohio funds certain financial aid and scholarships for individuals attending the state’s higher education institutions. This dashboard displays education and employment related outcomes for Ohio’s public college students who receive state-funded financial aid and scholarships. Both Choose Ohio First STEMM scholars’ and Ohio College Opportunity Grant (OCOG) recipients’ outcomes are reported. More details about these state funding sources are available on the ODHE website.
- Choose Ohio First - Ohio legislation establishes the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program as a component of the Ohio Innovation Partnership. Through a competitive process, the Choose Ohio First Scholarship Program assigns a number of scholarships to universities and colleges to recruit Ohio residents as undergraduate students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine (STEMM) or STEMM Education fields.
- Ohio College Opportunity Grant - The OCOG program provides grant money to Ohio residents who demonstrate the highest levels of financial need, as determined by the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), who are enrolled at Ohio public colleges or universities, Ohio private, non-profit colleges or universities, and Ohio private, for-profit institutions.
